Hagrid is one of the key staff members of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
His youth wasn’t easy as his father died when he was still a young student.
As it wasn't enough, he got expelled from the school because of false accusations by the then prefect Tom Riddle.
Indeed, Tom led the headmaster at the time, Armando Dippet, to believe that the Acromantula Hagrid had raised was the Chamber of Secrets monster.
Albus Dumbledore, who was a teacher at the time, did his best to help Hagrid stay at Hogwarts as a gamekeeper, in vain.
But thanks to Albus, Hagrid will remain at the school as gamekeeper.
On September 1st of each year, Rubeus welcomes the students and takes the first years by boat to the castle.
Hagrid always had a deep passion for dangerous magical creatures.
He had a dragon he named Norbert, a three-headed dog that guarded the Philosopher's Stone named Fluffy, an Acromantula he named Aragog, his hippogriff Buck and a herd of Thestrals.
Hagrid was the closest adult to Harry, Ron, and Hermione. They definitely learned to know him so well throughout their years at Hogwarts. What about you?
