Percy Weasley is the third son of Molly and Arthur Weasley and was born on August 22, 1976.
Like his five siblings, Percy had a peaceful childhood in the Burrow, with little money but lots of love.
He entered Hogwarts School in 1987 and was assigned to the Gryffindor house where he brought with him his former rat, Scabbers.
Percy is a proud and ambitious boy who's particularly studious in class. This led to his appointment as prefect in his fifth year.
When he successfully passed all his exams, he was given an owl as a gift, which he named Hermes. He then gave his rat to his younger brother Ron.
Accompanying the new Gryffindor students is a task he took very much to heart throughout his school years.
Like his brother Ron, Percy seems to need recognition from the others. He wants to take flight and feel important, apparently due to his much appreciated older brothers.
He needs to find his place and prefers to seek recognition elsewhere, but eventually realizes that his family is more important than anything else.
